Tentative Schedule of Events

(Things will be added as we get closer to April)

April 19-22, 2012

Thursday, April 19th Early Bird Evening

6:00 Registration Desk Open (Registration desk is open from 6:00 to 8:00PM

6:00 "Open-Sew" until 10:00 pm in Main Ballroom

Friday, April 20th

7:00 to 8:30 Breakfast at Hilton Garden or on your own

7:00 "Open" Sew opens for business in the main ballroom (Open from now until at least midnight, maybe later!)

8:00 Registration Desk Opens (Registration desk is open from 8:00AM to Noon)

9:00 Vendors Open for Business (Vendors are open from 9:00-5:00 pm)

9:00 Demonstrations begin in the "Board Room" (there will also be demonstrations going on at vendor booths

(Demonstration Schedule will be posted in the Sewing area, entrance way and on the website when we get closer to April)

9:00 Fabulous hourly door prize drawings until midnight

11:45-1:30 Lunch at the Hilton Garden or on your own

5:00 Vendors close until tomorrow

5:00-6:00 Meet and Greet - A chance for participants to get to know one another, talk about projects for the weekend, etc.

"Open" Sew continues until midnight

Saturday, April 21st

7:00 to 8:30 Breakfast at Hilton Garden or on your own

9:00 Vendors Open for Business (Vendors are open from 9:00 to noon)

Block Swap Instructions

Boats are the Theme for Quiltport 2012!

Boat Blocks can be any size divisible by 3" (3", 6", 9" 12") Blocks can be found using www.quilterscache.com or other free pattern sites.

Participants choose any colors they wish.

Participants can use any pattern or technique they prefer. (Pieced, Paper pieced, appliqued)

You may make as many blocks as you wish, all blocks should be the same. The number you turn in will be the number you receive back.

(Hopefully none of your own!)

A mailing label or post-it should be put on the back of each block your swapping so the participants that receive them know who made each one.

Blocks to be turned in complete at time of registration, in a gallon zip lock bag with your name on the front and number of blocks you are turning in for swapping.
