Cutting/Sewing Instructions Your unfinished block should measure 12 ½ square For each block - cut the following: 4 Assorted Light Fabrics From each of 2 light fabrics cut: 3 squares (A) 2 ½ X 2 ½ From each of 2 light fabrics cut: 2 squares (A) 2 ½ X 2 ½ 2 rectangles (B) 2 ½ X 4 ½ 4 Assorted Medium/Dark Fabrics From each of 2 medium/dark fabrics cut: 3 squares (A) 2 ½ X 2 ½ From each of 2 medium/dark fabrics cut: 2 squares (A) 2 ½ X 2 ½ 2 rectangles (B) 2 ½ X 4 ½ Two of the block sections have dark backgrounds with light chains and 2 have light backgrounds with dark chains.
